November Favourites ~
November was the marker for a lot of events with the largest being University finished for the year with the conclusion of all my exams by mid-November. Thankfully, I passed all my classes with my goal of all Distinctions this semester being realised, YAY for me. With another month passing by brings along with it another month of favourites. So here we go again,
Music:
I didn't really get to listen to any new music at the beginning of the month but a karaoke outing with friends introduced me to some new songs. From these songs, I sort of became obsessed with 'Demons' by 'Imagine Dragons'. I have been listening to it pretty much non-stop. I know the song is really popular in Australia but I don't really listen to the radio so I had no idea about it ... LOL.
Album wise I have been gravitating to Lorde's 'Pure Heroine'. I have to say that "Royals" has become really overplayed on radio (just my opinion) but I absolutely love "Tennis Court" and "Team". If you haven't given her album a listen, I would really recommend that you do.
TV Show:
About 3-4 years ago, I was really into Korean dramas but over the past year or so I stopped watching them or would only watch one or two that really caught my eye. Over the last 2 weeks of November, I started getting back into them to fill some time especially since a lot of American shows start going on break for the Summer. Well, out of the Korean dramas that I have watched I really loved 'Two Weeks'.
What I loved about this drama was that it was fast-paced, well written and didn't have idiotic characters. Most Korean dramas for some weird reason, or maybe it's the ones that I watch, have characters who are extremely dumb or oblivious even though they are described as smart, which gets really annoying. Characters in this drama acted like humans with intelligence especially the daughter who was utterly adorable. If you like Korean dramas, check it out and if you like it check out '49 Days' which was written by the same team who penned this drama. If you do happen to watch '49 Days' be prepared to cry and I mean like bawl your eyes out (well, I did anyways LOL).
Clothing:
This past month, I have realised that I seem to gravitate towards circle skirts and chambray shirts especially together. I love rolling up the sleeves to my elbow and pairing with one of my two circle skirts. I really like the casual yet put together feel of the two items and I just really love them together LOL. If I had a photo of them together, I would insert here but unfortunately I don't :(.
I think that's all for now. Hopefully I will have another post in a week which will probably be about me packing for my trip to Korea and Japan. Seriously can't believe that I have leaving in 12 days ... Excitement!!!!
