November was the marker for a lot of events with the largest being University finished for the year with the conclusion of all my exams by mid-November. Thankfully, I passed all my classes with my goal of all Distinctions this semester being realised, YAY for me. With another month passing by brings along with it another month of favourites. So here we go again,

Wow, I can't believe I essentially did it. I was able to, pretty much, blog every 2 days this past month. That is an achievement to me especially if you know my personality in real life. I tend to be really lazy and put things off for a while. That being said, I have decided that I will blog on a set schedule for August and see how that goes. If it sticks with me, that will pretty much be the future of the posts on this blog unless something comes up and that makes me want to blog less or more. This will probably be the case in December/January when I travel overseas. So I have planned that I will blog every Tuesday and Fridays, with Fridays possibly having a theme of Foodie Fridays. This is due to the fact, that looking on my posts this past month a lot of them have been centered around food and different restaurants that I have been trying.

With those notices out of the way, let's get on with the last post of July. I thought that it would be fitting that we leave the month of July the same that we entered it, with a monthly favourites post. July signalled my break between semesters for Uni and also my birthday, which I didn't really share due to personal wishes. Looking back, July did pass by relatively quick (but then again what month doesn't) and though some days were lazy, others were filled with activities that made the month just zoom by. Without further ado, let's get onto the favourites.

Music:
Music hasn't really been big on my agenda this post since I wasn't really travelling and therefore didn't really listen to it unless I was bored. With that being said, for my birthday my sister got me Demi Lovato's new album and I have been listening to it pretty much whenever I listen to music. Demi has always been a favourite artist of mine and her latest album doesn't disappoint at the least.

Last week, I rediscovered a show and became absolutely obsessed. I am talking absolute fascination. I rewatched every single episode, all behind-the-scene clips, interviews with the cast ... pretty much anything associated with the show in any way. From the title, this show would be 'Dance Academy'. If you haven't heard about it, it's an Australian show that focuses on 6 dances who are enrolled in the National Academy of Dance based in Sydney. The show illustrates the highs and low of a ballet dancer/student who is enrolled in the program and their efforts to win a contract with the Australian Ballet Company.

I can't believe that it is officially July :( Time has just flown by this past month and I still can't wrap my mind around it. I stated that something may be happening this month and I can reveal that it is that I will be posting every even day this month, starting with this post. I want to do this because I tend to neglect my blog and want to dedicate myself to it for a bit. Once this month is finished, I'm hoping that I will post regularly since it will put me in a frame of posting on a schedule.

With that out of the way, let us get on with the monthly favourites of May and June. It works out pretty well especially since my favourites from May did not really change for June since I was so busy I didn't really find anything new that I liked.

Music:
These past 2 months, I have been obsessed with Bridgit Mendler. I actually stumbled onto her music through a performance on 'The Ellen Show'. She's a Disney star but I love that her voice is so different which you can especially hear in her acoustic performances. I have to say that I love her acoustics a lot more than her recorded version. Below I have included my 2 favourite acoustic performances from her.

Since I was procrastinating already, I thought I would do something somewhat productive and post up my monthly favourites for April. This month has sort of been a blur to me in that I don't remember much. If you read my previous 2 posts, when I think back on April all I seem to remember is shopping. Lots and lots of shopping.

In terms of uni life and work life, my uni life has been more or so the same except for the assessments and mid-session exams that piled up on my workload. So that explains where some of my time went to. My work life has calmed down due to changing circumstances which has left me with some more free time. I have learnt to appreciate the weekend sleep-in which I was not allowed to have before. Oh sleeping in, how I have missed thee.

From last month, I have decided that I would have some set categories to every month but still allow myself to add categories if something really catches my attention in that month. For this month, it will just be the set categories to give myself a guideline and anyone else who happens to stumble upon this blog.

Music

This month has been totally been an Olly Murs month in terms of music.
