February Favourites ~
Is it just me or did February just zoom on past? February wasn't necessarily a busy month but certain things did happen that just made it go pass so quickly. One of the major things that happened was that repairs were finally started in my room after what it seems to be 3 months of me not being allowed in it. Quick background is that my bedroom is next to the bathroom and there was a leak which then meant that water was entering my room. Once the room is fully repaired, I will post up a full blog post about what happened, photos of the repairs and how I'm redecorating my room. I'm really excited for March as it means that I can finally start decorating it even if it happens at the end of the month.
The other big thing that happened was that I have been experiencing some really big stomach-aches. It happened a lot during my childhood with lots of trips to the doctor and some trips to the hospital but at the end of the day, they always told me that nothing was wrong but the pain was really bad. Anyways, in the past 4 years or so, they have reduced with some periods of time making them completely disappear but especially last week they came back with a vengeance. I haven't really changed my diet in any way but some days I just stayed in bed due to the pain.
Well, enough of that. Let us get into what things defined February for me.
Music: In terms of music, it had to be Demi Lovato.
Show/Drama: I am a fan of Korean dramas and in February, I started watching a few. One is still on-going and watching it has reminded how much I hate waiting week-to-week for something and that wait is especially hard if the English subtitles have not been released. Well, one of the dramas that I really loved in February was 'Answer Me 1997' or otherwise known as 'Reply, 1997'. It's a really nice drama with quite a good storyline but you have to know certain things about Korean culture to not be going 'WTH?!' throughout it. Take for example, you have to know that certain Koreans take their idols very seriously and are willing to go to extreme lengths for them. One thing I didn't particularly enjoy about it was a running storyline about the main love triangle. Towards the end, I just got sick of the whole thing and wanted to skip it but decided not to even though I had a feeling what was going to happen.
I think those were the only two defining things in February. Here's to hoping March is a little bit better. Until next time, keep safe all.
