My 4 month holiday/break from uni is almost over with uni starting on Monday for me. Since the end of the break was fast approaching and uni tends me to suck a lot out of me, I'm trying to catch up with as many people as possible. This led to last Friday's outing.

Last Friday, I trekked up to the city for the first time in a while. I had 2 hours to kill before I met up with Rosa so I decided to roam about the city, just to familiarise myself again with what it had to offer. Upon meeting up with Rosa, we headed over to Circular Quay to catch up with Judy, who is working there. We sat outside of MCA (Museum of Contemporary Art) and we actually got talking about some serious topics. I found out things about my previous classmates in high school and just caught up on everything that was happening. Jane then arrived and joined us where we got talking about different topics again. Just talking to them 3 really reminded me of what it's like to just simply catch up and have a good talk.

Rosa, Jane and I then headed to the rooftop cafe at MCA which is a really good looking cafe with an awesome view of the Harbour but dang it, it was windy. The food was really good and we just sat there for about 2 hours just talking about this and that. After we left, Rosa made it her mission to make us more "arty-farty", well that's what I think anyways. When Rosa and Jane found out I haven't gone to Hyde Park, they took it upon themselves to take me there and show me the spots that I had to take my future boyfriend, which they will also find for me.

All in all, it was a great day with friends and an awesome way to depart from my holidays.
