March Favourites ~

March sort of went by in a blur for me. I can't really remember what happened in this month exactly (shows you how forgetful I can be) but I think that was maybe partially due to so many things happening.

March marked the beginning of uni for me again. Getting up in the morning before 10am on a regular basis was quite difficult to do and will probably be difficult again after having a week off for the Easter break. My timetable this year is a bit heavier than what it was last year resulting in going to uni an extra day to fill it up. I have been enjoying the courses so far so I guess that's a good sign but still need to get my butt into gear if I want to get the WAM/GPA that I need by the end of my Bachelor to do what I want to do.

If you couldn't tell, uni has made me lazier and I was already lazy to begin with. I'm hoping to become more proactive but we shall see what the year has in store for me. I guess that's also why I decided to somewhat seriously blog again. To document what the year has given me and reflect back. Also, to make me less lazy.

For the favourites of this month, they haven't really changed from last month. Then again, I only had 2 last month but I have been consistently listening to Demi Lovato.

What I have really been into this month has to be mix CD's. Not the ones that others give you but making them myself to listen in the car. It's really interesting to me to see how my taste in music has changed over the years and I think it will be really interesting comparing a mix CD I made in March 2013 to one that I make in say 5 years time. Being able to listen to how my taste has evolved will really fascinate me.

I don't know if this is a favourite of mine but I really love my laptop.

I realised how much I use it especially during March as I did go back to uni. It literally accompanied me everywhere and made everything so much easier as I had all my coursework at a touch of button or a click away. If you haven't realised by the photo but I own a MacBook Pro. I have wanted one for about 9-10 years and I finally decided to get one last year. I first fell in love with it while watching 'Veronica Mars' and it was always a pipe dream for me. Like I always wanted it but never took the plunge and I never asked anyone to get me one because I felt like it was my dream to realise. Early last year I decided to get one as I had been working and had saved up quite a bit of money. So to reward myself for getting into the course that I wanted and not spending that much money on myself, I finally took the plunge and got my dream laptop and haven't looked back since. I love my laptop and it is referred to as my 'baby'. I know it's really superficial but my laptop to me is a symbol of everything that I have done so far. I started working when I was 14, worked my butt off at school, got into the uni and course that I wanted and I am still working. Everything that I gotten since I was 14 is due to my hard work except for my very first laptop which my parents got me as a gift for my achievements at school since about year 4. So my laptop to me symbolises my determination and tells me to never give up on what you want because it will happen someday. You just have to keep working at it.

I really don't know what else I really liked this month. I'm thinking of actually making solid categories so there will be a set number but who knows what will happen. There should be a new post coming up in a week as I just returned from a short holiday from Adelaide. So that should be something I guess but uni starts on Monday so I need to get back into that swing of things.

So until next time. Bye.
