Dessert Time ~
Last weekend, a couple of my friends and I decided to pop into V Lounge at Canley Heights for our dessert hit. V Lounge is a cafe style restaurant that offers lunch, dinner, desserts, drinks and ice-cream/gelato. I've been to V Lounge a number of times where I have tried their fried ice-cream, warm chocolate cake, gelato flavours and a couple of their hot drinks.
Since we went on a weekend, it was pretty crowded and busy so the service was pretty lackluster. If it is your first time going, I would advise going on a weekday instead of a weekend since the service is a lot better on a weekday than it is on a weekend. On this particular occasion, I ordered the taro latte with soy milk while the rest of the table ordered a Toblerone cocktail, a dessert pizza with mascarpone and blueberries and green tea fried ice-cream. The taro latte was pretty good especially since I thought it might be a bit weird but it pretty good for my first tasting. I think we agreed that the green tea fried ice-cream was a bit of a disappointment since we were expecting the ice-cream to be green-tea flavoured not the decorations.

Overall, V Lounge isn't the best dessert place that I have visited/tried but it is a relatively good one that is nearby to myself. If you are in the South West area and would like to visit it:

Can you believe the month of July is almost over? I still can't really wrap my head around it. I'm not doing anything really interesting over the next couple of days since I will be in training. So the last couple of posts of July may be less interesting but I will try and still liven them up hopefully. So just giving you a heads up about that.
Think that's about it folks. Until next time, hope you guys enjoy the simplicity of life and don't get weigh down by unnecessary things.
