Winter ramblings ~
I felt like taking a breather today and just having a sort of talking post. Just a post about my recent thoughts and rambling my way through it.
Currently, it is winter in Australia and with every season, there are advantages and disadvantages that come along with them. Last week there was a sort of heat wave that passed through Sydney allowing for warm, sunny days to be experienced. That had to be my favourite week of winter so far. It was like having summer without the disadvantages of summer - the mosquitos. Mosquitos and flies are pretty much the bane of my existence in summer. They frustrate and annoy me to no end, giving me no moment of peace to be had.
Sadly though that warm front is disappearing, leaving in its wake a cold breeze to be experienced. What really drives me crazy in winter is that the days are so short. Like right now, I am writing this post at 7pm and it is absolutely pitch black making it feel as though it is 10pm or midnight. This results in sleepiness coming to me faster and exhaustion hitting my body about this time. What I really dislike is that I will be doing things and a wave of tiredness hits because I look outside to just see darkness then looking at a clock and realising it is only 6pm or thereabouts.
However, I love curling up in bed or on my couch with a good book and a cup of tea.Oh or a mug of hot soya bean drink/milk. That drink is like heaven to me. I absolutely cannot live without it. What this result in, however, is that at least one cup much be available at all times or I become somewhat cranky. That is not a good thing LOL. Those have to be my favourite moments of winter. That and the laziness that winter offers me. Winter to me, just means laziness. You are lazy to wake up in the morning, you are allowed to be lazy in your choice of clothing especially since you can walk out of the room as long as you have pants on and a jumper/jacket/coat on you. Everyone is slow to judge others because they can relate to the laziness that winter allows them. With that being said, winter plays up to my lazy personality while summer plays up to my outgoing personality.
Well, that's pretty much all that I have to ramble. Hopefully, it didn't bore you too much. I will have a more exciting post in 2 days *fingers crossed*.
